Announcements, firmware and what is new with mirrorless cameras and lenses.
Canon announced firmware updates for the EOS C400, C80, C50 and R5 C. They add Multi Matrix colour control, autofocus in Slow & Fast mode at 72 to 96 fps, and, on the C50, a 1/8000 shutter and external flash support in photo mode. A free Camera Control Center app also arrives, with the firmware due by December and the app on Windows in January 2027.
